Welcome to semiconductor-design.com, your educational resource for learning about the job functions and people who design semiconductors, also frequently known as computer chips or integrated circuits.
This site was created because there is a real lack of information on the actual job positions of the semiconductor industry. There are many sites available which explain the actual manufacturing processes and show pictures of the fabs where the chips are built, but there is very little information available on the roles of the people who design the chips.
Through this site, we hope to present enough information to educate the reader and explain this high-paying, highly challenging field.
